This extraordinary Single Vineyard Lyndoch Shiraz is first matured in traditional oak barrels, then finished in an exceptionally rare 50-year-old Single Malt Whisky barrel, producing a tremendous burst of spicy plum, wild blackberry with notes of cedar and roasted cashews.

The ultimate Double Barrel expression - a rare 50-year-old Scotch Whisky barrel dated from 1966 has been used to finish our finest single-vineyard wine in the Barossa Valley, Australia.
An extremely rare Scotch Whisky barrel that was once aged a 50-year-old single malt Scotch Whisky.
The Scotch produced using this barrel was so rare that only 100 bottles were produced.
The extra old single malt barrel imparts a more robust oak character and greater smoky notes on the wine it holds. Therefore this barrel can only withhold the fine wine with enough quality and concentration of flavour to balance with the intensity of oak.
Single vineyard 2016 Barossa Shiraz - the very finest fruit was selected from blocks A & B of the Lyndoch vineyard at the Southern end of the Barossa.
The wine had a prolonged maturation period of 19 months in traditional French & American oak.
Blended with exceptional craftmanship the wine was finished in a single malt barrel of 3 fill cycles to extract the robust smokey notes which give its unique flavour, before being blended together.
