Lower than average Winter and Spring rainfall led to lower than average yields across South Australia. Warm weather allowed for good ripening with excellent fruit flavour development but a drop in temperature around picking meant that acid levels were retained, creating a refreshing fruit-forward wine.
Vineyards were selected due to their high-quality fruit. All parcels were treated individually, with cold fermentation in stainless steel meaning the aromatic characteristics were retained. Only the best parcels were then blended to achieve a crisp and intensely flavoured wine.
